Camping @ Canberra Country Music Festival
The site of the Canberra Country Music Festival is the 70 hectare "Exhibition Park In Canberra" and has the largest and most inexpensive powered and unpowered camp sites in the Capital Country region. Ideal for motorhomes, vans or tents staying onsite allows for more music, dance and entertainment time that make the festival experience all that more special.
The Canberra Country Music Festival is a friend to RV/Camper groups, Country Music Clubs and 4WD tours. All amenities are on site including laundry and chemcial waste drop site, with a capcity for several thousand happy campers. The Exhibition Park site is "Pet Friendly", so visitors can bring and walk dogs and horse as long as on a leash. No reservation or pre-booking is required. We encourage Motorhome group/club members to locate together so that a common community instantly appears when vans and tents arrive together.
Upon arrival, please proceed to the Administration Office for check in and payment of camping fees. Should you arrive outside of office hours (9am to 5pm, Mon-Fri) please proceed directly to the campground and visit the Administration Office at 9am on the next business day, if you happen to be checking out before that time please telephone 0418 630 034 to discuss payment arrangements.
Typical stays are 2 to 5 nights, with the longer stays possible up to 1 month upon discussion with EPIC Camping staff.

Re: Camping @ Canberra Country Music Festival
I preferred booking with the Festival so we could be sure of site close to the Festival entrance. We usually stay for 5 nights so will go for the same spot again this year and then pay at the site office. I understand there was a minibus circling the venue to transport campers to the entrance gate, but I didn't use it as we were camped only 100 metres away.

Re: Camping @ Canberra Country Music Festival
Is there anyway we can book camping? We feel a bit nervous buying tickets to the country festival when we haven't secured a camping site for our van and I am sure we are not alone. exhibition park must be the only large camping site we can't book ahead with. can the festival assist us with a campsite? thanks

Please try to get camping and tickets together for booking ahead in 2012. there is a better feeling of security knowing that accommodation is reserved before travlleing to any festival. I understand some of the problems you organisers have to contend with, but keep trying to get this right and locked in.
